THE PRACTICE TEAM

All the staff are fully trained and qualified and are here to help you. The surgery building is cared for by two cleaning ladies and a gardener/general handyman.

In the future the practice may well establish itself as a training practice for new GPs. In the event of us achieving this much needed facility, we may request that a trainee doctor, in order to gain experience, is allowed to sit in on consultations. We would of course only undertake this with the full consent of the patient involved.

All our staff are here to help you and will do so to the best of their ability. However, whilst we appreciate that many patients attend the practice in pain or distress, we will not tolerate verbal abuse or violence directed towards any member of staff. In the event of any such occurrence, the practice reserves the right to remove the offending individual from the patient list.

PRACTICE NURSES

The practice nurses hold their own surgeries offering 10 minute appointments. They are widely experienced and can offer advice on family planning, immunisations and travel vaccinations. They do the majority of cervical smears, blood pressure and heart checks, diabetes care and asthma monitoring.
